Earthquake Prediction for Organisations
Configurable global coverage. 48-hour advance predictions. Dashboard, email, API, and webhook delivery. Independent performance evaluation built in from day one.
Seismikon is not an official government warning system and does not issue evacuation orders or safety directives. Predictions are for operational preparedness support only and should complement - not replace - official emergency procedures.
What Seismikon Provides
Configurable Global Coverage
California is the current public demonstration region. Coverage for any seismically active region globally is available under a commercial arrangement - configured to your area of operations.
48-Hour Advance Predictions
Prospective predictions issued up to 48 hours before a seismic event window, with defined location, magnitude, depth, and time tolerances - giving teams time to act within their own protocols.
Multi-Channel Delivery
Receive predictions via the Seismikon dashboard, email digest, REST API, or webhook - integrating with your existing information management and operational workflows.
Independent Performance Reporting
Every prediction is evaluated against the published protocol. Performance data - true positives, false positives, null-hypothesis comparison - is available for your own review.
Peer-Reviewed Methodology
Based on Bikos (2024), a published study using natural time analysis and LSTM neural networks. The full citation and methodology are on the How It Works page.
Tailored Implementation
Each solution is implemented to fit the organisation's existing operations, integration requirements, and regional seismic context. Deployment is scoped through direct discussion.
Industry Applications
Advance predictions have different operational implications across sectors. Select your sector below, or read the use-case detail for each.
Utilities & Water Networks
Pre-position repair crews, confirm backup switching capacity, alert industrial customers, and stage repair equipment before an event - not after.
- Grid and distribution network operators
- Gas network operators
- Water and wastewater authorities
Rail & Transport
Pre-position bridge and tunnel inspection teams, review timetable contingencies, alert freight customers, and confirm engineering on-call coverage in advance.
- National and regional rail operators
- Infrastructure managers
- Port and logistics operators
Semiconductor & Precision Manufacturing
Review and pause sensitive lithography runs, secure in-process wafers, verify vibration-isolation systems, and brief cleanroom teams before a seismic event window opens.
- Semiconductor fabs and foundries
- Advanced optics and MEMS manufacturers
- Medical device precision assembly
Risk & Engineering Platforms
Integrate Seismikon's prospective prediction feed into your catastrophe model, risk platform, or engineering consultancy service - with a full historical archive for due diligence.
- Catastrophe modelling firms
- Reinsurers and cat bond issuers
- Engineering consultancies

Responsible Use & Limitations
Probabilistic, Not Guaranteed
Seismikon predictions carry inherent uncertainty. False positives will occur. Each prediction includes defined tolerances - location radius, magnitude window, depth range, time window - and is evaluated against them.
Preparedness, Not Automation
Predictions are designed to inform human preparedness decisions, not to automate equipment actions, trigger automatic shutdowns, or override official emergency procedures.
No Public Endorsement Required
Commercial arrangements are private. Customers are not asked to publicly endorse Seismikon results, cite predictions in press communications, or link performance to organisational commitments.
Not a Government Warning System
Seismikon is an independent research and prediction service. It does not issue evacuation orders, official safety directives, or replace guidance from authorised seismic monitoring agencies.
Evaluate the Evidence
All performance claims are independently verifiable. Start with the track record, methodology, and evaluation protocol.
Discuss Earthquake Prediction Coverage
Tell us about your organisation and region of interest. Initial conversations cover your seismic exposure, prediction requirements, and integration needs.
Request the Technical Brief
The Seismikon Technical Brief covers the prediction methodology, evaluation protocol, regional configuration options, delivery methods, and historical performance data in a format suitable for internal review and due diligence.
